Dr. M. Brittany Bester, PhD, LPC
Michelle Brown, LPC
Brittany's training and experience comes from a variety of trauma-informed, evidence-based models for psychotherapy that have been practiced in individual, family, and group settings within partial-hospital, day treatment, and outpatient settings with various acuity levels.
She has experience conducting, presenting, and teaching research in relational dynamics, providing consultations on best practices for relational communication in correlation with trauma-informed evidence-based practices.
Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy for individuals ages 11+. She's passionate about helping children and adolescents learn how to understand and express their emotions, use healthy coping skills, and improve their confidence. Michelle's practice focuses on kids struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma and relational issues with a person-centered approach that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy modalities.

The adolescent years can be significantly challenging to navigate (for both teens and parents) and part of my passion in working with this age group is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can leave a session feeling heard and understood. Michelle's work often centers around accepting what we cannot control and working on putting our energy into what we can. I believe that we can help ourselves by being self-compassionate and validating.
